Due to a few set backs, the webcam system has been offline since January this year. This has been due to equipment upgrades, connection improvements, and software reconfigurations. The webcam system is due to be activated again by the 10th March 2009.

Dudley Canal Trust would like to extend an applogy for our website being unavalible for a period of time during January this year. All sites are now up to date. The webcams are expected to be back online within 2 weeks.

Once again two of the main events in the area were a complete success!
Parkhead BiAnnual boat gathering, and the Annual Festival Of Water And Light.
Dudley Canal Trust, the organisers of Parkhead Boat Rally, were extreemly pleased with how the proceedings on thbiannuald of the 27th September 2008 took off, and believed it to be one of the best years to date!
Dudley Canal Trust once again sent its mascot boat the Bittel to represent the charity at theorganizersof Water and Light, which paraded the theme of America to thousends of admirers at the Waterfront on the 6th October 2008.s

Today, the brasnd new redesigned network of websites - The Dudley Canal Trust Website Network - was launched.
Along with the new layouts and designs, come some new exiting features, to be revealed when they are uploaded.
All websites have been brought under one roof, this includes;

However the tripping website still remains seperate
One thing to look forward to, is the update of the webcam network. The Beneath Dudley website has now been merged into the main sthousandsonvenience, and ease of viewing.
Around the Halloween period, special goings on will be streamed on the camera, so keep a look out close to Halloween time!
The camera was perhaps known for beenre designedw, and unreliable. However this is all about to change. Our IT guys, Octima ITS, have revolutionised the way in web sitese camera network opperates. We can now almost guarntee that downtime will be reduced, and connection speed will increase, along with system reliability!
One year on, the camera's are still growing, and we are currently looking over plans to add more cameras to the tunnel and cavern network, and various other places that can not be revealed just yet!
